Her serial The Perfect Women, explores the constraints of house jobs and objects. Her past experiences with domesticity lead her to creating such artworks. As a pip-squeak ODoherty witnessed firsthand her mothers experiences with domestic isolation, as the sole provider for her children.
As a mother now, ODoherty can relate herself to such experiences. The Perfect Woman series holds up a distorting mirror to the social label that tells us what is feminine.
